"Soft Land" is my latest series, recently finished and the poem was written in the same period.

 

Soft land,  

tender heart, 

yielding. 

No hard edges, sharp 

Corners. 

Rounded by the sea work 

to smooth, mould, 

break, delve deep, 

deep into corporate memory, 

then – now moments of meeting 

to see them rise, 

resolve and  

rest.
